The Wisconsin Birding Challenge continues! NEW ARTICLES

Chapters 3 & 4 of my Milwaukee Record column are online! I hit 14 more counties on my quest to bird in every Wisconsin county before the end of 2022. You might be asking yourself “if you’re birding in Wisconsin why do you have a shot of a non-native crane as article four’s header?” During chapter 4 I birded at the International Crane Foundation in Baraboo, WI. While I was there I HAD TO photograph the beautiful cranes they care for including this Black-necked Crane which is native to Asia. If you find yourself in central Wisconsin I highly recommend a trip to the ICF. They’re a wonderful organization dedicated to crane conservation and one of many Wisconsin orgs responsible for the recovery of Sandhill Cranes.

Anyway, below are links to Chapters 3 and 4. Let me know your favorite pic from the bunch!
