As a new member of the Wisconsin Society of Ornithology (WSO), I was given the opportunity to introduce myself to the greater Wisconsin birder community through their newsletter, The Badger Birder. If you live in Wisconsin consider becoming a member of WSO. Not only are their newsletters filled with amazing content, but the WSO is also a leader in the state when it comes to bird conservation and education. WSO spearheads a number of projects including the Wisconsin Breeding Bird Atlas and hosts field trips year-round for members.
